Good morning, Champion
=AGREE WITH WHAT HE IS DECLARING OVER YOU=
Jeremiah 29:11–14 (NIV)
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will
call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will
seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by
you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity.
We looked yesterday at these great promises concerning our Godly destiny,
and established that it was not just a single promise to a single man named
Jeremiah but the Lord also declares this over you and me today in the 21st
Century! I love how it does not say 'mumble' or 'whisper' but rather He
_declares._ God declares over you today plans of prosperity, hope and a
future as you walk in His ways. All He is looking for from us is agreement:
He has provided everything to make what He says can happen in your life a
reality, He just needs you to agree with His plans for your life to cause
activation.
He is a God who designed choice; He will not violate your choice but He will
inspire you with incredible tomorrows. He did this with Abraham. When God
stepped into Abraham's life he was not down and out – Abram, as he was then,
was living, as far as we can see, a pretty good life. God had a great life
for Him but Abram had to want it – God turns up and reveals His plans for
Abram, plans to take him from mere good to great.
Genesis 12:1–4 (NIV)
The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your
father's household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into
a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you
will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you
I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." So
Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was
seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran.
That awesome speech must have made Abraham's pretty good plans for His life
look suddenly quite small! But as you read on you notice that nothing kicked
in until Abraham left what he had planned and stepped into and embraced what
God had planned. The plans of God for our lives kick in when we let go or
step out of ours (the ones that are opposite to His) and embrace His.
Remember, Abraham was 75 years old when he made this choice. You are _never_
too old or have spent too much of your life for the promises and plans of
God to come into play! Also, when you're living in the plans of God for your
life, as with Abraham, He blesses those who bless you and curses those who
curse you.
It also says when you live in the revealed plans of God for your life
"people of the earth are blessed through you". Why? Because God's plans for
you are always bigger than you! He wants to bless your life and the world
you are in far beyond you. He will cause your life, ministry or business to
save, restore and refresh thousands of people apart from you, many that you
don't even know.
Lastly, God says, "I know the plans I have for you". The good news is, He is
not wanting to keep them a secret, He wants you to know His plans too. There
are no trick questions or puzzle-like teasing: He wants you to know and live
out His destiny and plans for your life today. Just as He did with Abraham,
so He will do with you. So today, be listening, be hungry for Him, be ready
to step out of and step into, be ready to let go of and to embrace!
Abraham probably thought he was leaving and letting go of a lot, because
when you are in something it is all you know. But how different what he had
left looked when he found himself standing in what God had for him! Trust
Him; He never takes away without giving back better.
