He is willing and able!
Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Nice quick thought this morning:
He is able to do! We need to continually remain conscious of the fact that our God is able.
· He is not subject to the things that limit us. He is free and outside of the restraints we so often know as normal, and the fact is He can do anything, for anyone and at anytime. Live ready for Him to do something awesome for you!
· He is willing and able. It is important to know that both of these ingredients are His. If He was just willing that would not be enough. For example, I could be willing to give you a million pounds but if I was not able to then nothing would change for you except you being blessed by my good intentions. God is willing – remember when the leper came to Jesus and said, "Lord if you are willing I can be healed", and Jesus replied, "I am willing". Today He says that same thing to you in your need or situation.
· He has all ability to do whatever is needed for you! We live on a globe He made, in a universe He formed. When we pray we must remember that He does not live in a four bedroom house down the road – He holds the universe (that which man has only partially been able to discover) in the span of His Hand.
So today, when you pray (speak to God), speak to Him knowing that He is both willing and able. When you understand those two realities anything can happen – it is like mixing two chemicals that react when connected.
Today the God who formed the universe by His words is able to do for you, and is willing to do for you!
