Put your praise at the front
2 Chronicles 20:21-23 (NKJV)
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: "Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever."
Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
I just want to encourage you again today, Champion, regarding the power of your praise. Whatever challenge or situation you may be facing, either right now or at another time, always remember to put your praise at the front of the armies of your life.
In these verses we see Jehoshaphat do something very wise which can be wisdom for us again today if we choose to learn from it. He appointed the praise to be at the front and not in the middle or at the back.
When they began to praise from the front God set ambushes against their enemies and great victories were had. How about you? Do you want God to set some ambushes for the enemy of your soul and set you up for a win? Then get your praise out in the front of your life again today.
• Put it in front of every other activity and praise Him first!
• Put it in front of every other plan of attack and praise Him first!
• Put it in front of every other ability and resource you have, because nothing else you have in the arsenal of your life is as powerful as your praise.
Praise belongs in the front of who we are and what we desire to do. Praise is the overflow of a forgiven soul and a declaration of faith in a never-failing God. Praise changes the atmosphere of any battlefield or life.
Get your praise on! Appoint it to be positioned at the front, and then expect a victory.
